Rozen Maiden Characters

Pernah tau anime Rozen Maiden kan? Nah, tokoh dalam anime tersebut akan sedikit banyak kami ulas disini. So, stay tune ya and enjoy. (sorry pake bahasa inggris, kalo bingung buka google translate yah + kalo ada salah penempatan atau vocabnya tolong diberitahu yah kan sama sama belajar :D ).

Suigintou (水銀燈 Suigintō?, Quecksilber Lampe, Mercury Lamp) is the first of the Rozen Maidens. Her desire to win the Alice Game is the strongest of all the dolls, and is primarily driven by her wish to gain the attention of their "Father", the fantastic dollmaker Rozen. Sadistic, spiteful, and arrogant (all due to her spectacular superiority complex), Suigintou has no inhibitions when it comes to the Alice Game. She will use any method available to her, regardless of how brutal it may be, to reach victory. Although she avoids socializing with her sister dolls, she has a particularly bitter hatred for Shinku. However, upon meeting Megu, her medium, Suigintou's attitude and motivations begin to shift; she begins to feel a strong affection for someone other than "Father", and a will to fight for something other than the honor of becoming "Alice", the perfect girl. Suigintou's desire to protect Megu begins to even overpower her wish to meet "Father," and she hopes to use the collected Rosae Mysticae, not to become Alice, but to heal Megu's heart ailment instead. However, Suigintou fails in this endeavor, in the end discovering to her horror that she has used up Megu's energy. She also hates being called "junk."
Initially, Suigintou's will to exist was so strong that she was able to move without actually possessing a Rosa Mystica. Suigintou did not consciously make a contract with Megu, rather, Megu came upon Suigintou as she was reawakening. Prior to this, Suigintou's strong sense of independence, as well as disdain towards humanity, had her avoiding the perceived weakness of having a medium. She is also the only Rozen Maiden to have been defeated and revived three times..
Suigintou has a number of unique traits and flaws amongst the Rozen Maidens. In the anime, she is missing her torso. Shinku explains that before Suigintou was completed, part of her design was erased, but gives no further explanation as to why or how. In Ouvertüre, it is shown that Rozen abandoned her half-completed form in two parts on his worktable. She was never assembled — although her clothing was completed — and as such, was not initially given the life force known as a Rosa Mystica. It was her love for Rozen that brought her to life, and she crawled off of the table to seek him out (having only her top half to use). How she managed to get into her own clothing is a mystery. Rozen does later provide her with a Rosa Mystica, only after she is sliced in half by Souseiseki and presumably fated to fade out of existence. Curiously, after Suigintou is destroyed in battle by Shinku at the end of the anime's first season, she is restored midway through Träumend. The identity of the person responsible for her restoration is never revealed, however it is strongly implied to be Rozen (It should be noted, however, that the only character to give any clue as to who repaired Suigintou was Barasuishou - Barasuishou called her maker, Enju, "Father", rather than Rozen as the rest of the dolls did.) In the Träumend finale, she tells Shinku that "Father" had told her that even with her flawed body, she is also entitled to a part in the Alice Game. Later, Rozen is seen lovingly fixing Suigintou's neck ribbon as she sleeps, and even grips her gently around the waist afterwards, implying that he has mended her incomplete body.

  Appearance

Suigintou is portrayed with white hair and pinkish eyes (the latter of which are purposefully shown to have narrow, slit pupils, probably in an attempt to be creepy.) She wears a dark blue&nbsp headband with black lace trimming. Each side of the headband ends with a black bow; the headband also sports a rosette on top (this rosette's color tends to change often; usually it is shown as dark wine red, although it can have dark or light purple hues, or even peach pink.) A dark blue neck ribbon is tied around her neck, and her dress is white and dark blue. It has a matching rosette brooch just like the one on the headband. The top part of the dress also has black lace trimming and features white ruffles trimming. The sleeves of the dress are puffy on each of the shoulders, while on the arms they fit the first half - the lower arms feature three-layered white ruffles. The skirt is white with ruffles trimming, layered with dark blue diamond-shaped pieces. The two front layers feature white inverted crosses. Between these two layers is a criss-crossed ribbon. She also wears a pair of dark blue boots with matching rosettes like those on the headband. Suigintou is an incomplete doll in both manga and anime version: in the anime, she doesn't have a torso, but in the manga, her back is flawed and cracked by her black wings, which is her weapon. Suigintou is the only Rozen Maiden doll who has wings.

  Personality

Her characteristics thorough the series appear to be sadistic, spiteful, and arrogant, and she will use any method in order to win the Alice Game. However, upon meeting Megu, her medium, in the anime, Suigintou's attitude and motivations are beginning to shift. Suigintou is slowly showing a gentler side through her growing fondness of Megu, and even hopes to use the other dolls' Rosae Mysticae to heal Megu of her heart ailment.
In the manga, her flaw is her wings — notably, she is the only Rozen Maiden with them — that have ravaged her back with cracks. Despite these flaws, her love for "Father" and will to live is so strong that she can use her powers independently of a medium.
The anime portrayal of Suigintou harbours a much larger hatred for Shinku then that was originally seen in the manga, in which they are still not friends, but are shown to be more as rivals rather than as enemies, (There is a situation where the two are forced to cooperate together to defeat Kirakishou, and whilst they have arguments and generally bicker comically amongst themselves, they are not mortal enemies.)
In Ouvertüre, Suigintou and Shinku are shown to actually be friends, but the friendship sours after Suigintou discovers that Shinku only pretended to be her friend out of pity. It is also revealed that Rozen abandoned her without a Rosa Mystica (which she later acquires) and started moving towards her affection for him. When Megu shows Suigintou a bouquet of bright red roses, Suigintou destroys the bouquet, saying that she "hates roses." This obviously indicates that she either hates roses as a whole, or that she particularly dislikes bright red roses, since Shinku uses bright red rose petals as her primary weapon. (The latter is believe to be the case as she still wears rosettes on her clothes.)
In the manga Megu and Suigintou seem to have a stronger "bond" than in the anime. Megu was also the reason Suigintou traveled to the alternate dimension and subsequently declared a truce with Shinku, so that the two may work together to bring down Kirakishou.

  Weapons

Along with her artificial spirit, Meimei, Suigintou's weapons are her ragged black wings. With their arrow-like feathers, she can conjure up a shield, a large sword, or even twin black dragons. Suigintou can also create destructive blue flames as a last resort in battle. Suigintou's varied abilities, particularly when combined with her savagely cunning nature, make her a strong player in the Alice Game.

  Trivia

Her artificial spirit, "Meimei," is named for the Japanese word "Mei", meaning darkness.
She is the only Rozen Maiden with wings, which can be a reference to Alice's figure in the anime.
She is the only Rozen Maiden (not counting those defeated by Barasuishou) to have been resurrected, and was actually resurrected by Rozen three times. This could be hint that she is one of the two Rozen Maidens who are selected to become Alice, the other being Shinku.

Kanaria

Weapon                      : Violin
Artificial spirit           : Pizzicato (ピチカート Pichikāto)
Gender                       : Female
Medium                      : Mitsu (Also called Mi-chan)
Hair color                   : Gray or sometimes teal-gray
Eye color                    : Green

Kanaria (金糸雀 Kanaria, Kanarienvogel, Canary Bird) (spelled Canaria in the Tokyopop translated manga) is the second Rozen Maiden doll, who is as adorable as she is eccentric. Not only does she constantly refer to herself in third person, but she also talks about taking her sisters' Rosa Mystica, though she repeatedly fails in her attempts to do so, and ends up becoming more of an ally to the group in the Sakurada home. In Ouvertüre, the other dolls apparently forgot Kanaria's name most of the time, although in the manga Hinaichigo admits to Kanaria that she was only kidding.
In the second manga series of Rozen Maiden, Kanaria stayed behind with Jun Sakurada in the N-Field while the other surviving dolls crossed over to the other Jun Sakurada's dimension.
In the anime, Kanaria loses her Rosa Mystica to Barasuishou. When Suiseiseki is fighting Barasuishou, she tells Kanaria to escape using the tree (which Suiseiseki had caused to grow earlier). However, Kanaria goes against Suiseiseki's wishes and returns, trying to use her violin to protect Suiseiseki. When one of her violin strings break, it is Suiseiseki who protects her and she ends up being trapped within a giant crystal. Her Rosa Mystica begins to travel to Barasuishou, but Kanaria jumps in front of the giant crystal and takes it. Barasuishou, however, is not merficul and defeats a now helpless Kanaria. Soon after, a large crack is seen on the giant crystal marking the attack Barasuishou made. At this point, both Kanaria and Suiseiseki's Rosae Mysticae are retrieved by Barasuishou.
Appearance
Kanaria's outfit is a bright one, consisting of puffy orange pants and a long-sleeved yellow coat, with the sleeves puffed at the shoulders and laced in white at the ends. The coat is tied in the front at the neck and the waist with brown ribbons. She wears classy black shoes and is often seen carrying a parasol, which she uses frequently to 'float' from place to place. Her hair is gray or occasionally shown with a teal-green tint, and she wears it tied into two ringleted ponytails. Her bangs are held to the side by a heart-shaped yellow hairpiece bearing a red rose. Her eyes are green.
Personality
Kanaria fancies herself as quite the stealthy prowler, and makes a hobby of watching the exploits of her sisters, usually through binoculars. Her bright, somewhat arrogant disposition makes her the ideal subject for many of the comedic episodes, and her personality mostly complements that of Hinaichigo, who eventually becomes her good friend and rival; they often debate on whose medium is "better," i.e. prettier. In the manga, she visits the Sakurada home more often than in the anime, and even invites Mitsu, her medium, after Hinaichigo is taken by Kirakishou, in order to fulfill the void left by Hinaichigo. Kanaria has the unusual habit of ending her sentences with "kashira" ("I wonder?" or "maybe?"), which is likened to Hinaichigo's penchant for ending sentences with "na no" (meaning "Because"). Kanaria's favorite food is tamagoyaki, a Japanese thick omelet, which, more often than not, is snatched away from her by hungry birds before she can enjoy it. She is introduced in the second season and makes a brief appearance in Ouvertüre, making yet another humorously over-the-top attempt to infiltrate Jun's home to steal her sisters' Rosae Mysticae.
Weapons
Despite being constantly funny without meaning to and making repeated failures in many of the things she does, Kanaria is a competent opponent and attacks with a violin that can emit particularly destructive sound waves. Her biggest attack is a cyclone (which Shinku can easily disperse). Her artificial spirit, Pizzicato, is named after the technique of playing orchestral instruments by plucking the strings, which she uses as a very damaging counterattack.

Suiseiseki

Weapon                      : Watering Can
Artificial spirit           : Sui Dream (スィドリーム)
Gender                       : Female
Medium                      : Jun Sakurada
Hair color                   : Brown
Eye color                    : Green (left), red (right)

Suiseiseki (翠星石, English Jade Stone/Star) is the third doll of the Rozen Maiden series. She is the elder twin sister of Souseiseki.
Appearance
Suiseiseki has mismatching eyes, the right red, the left green. She wears a long green Victorian era dress with a white collar and black ribbon around the neck, along with a beige hair accessory, similar to a bonnet. She is meant to resemble a sort of housewife gardener, being one of the two Rozen Maidens that is made to deal with plants. Her long brown hair is curled at the ends.
Personality
Suiseiseki is described by Shinku as the most timid, as shown by her first impression. Besides being shy and nervous, she was very distrustful of humans. She's also shown to be mischievous, somewhat abusive, and taunting to Jun Sakarada and Hinaichigo. However, despite her attitude towards Jun, Suiseiseki actually cares a great deal for him, and her attempts to cover that up usually come in the form of more insults. In fact, she cares deeply for everyone in her life, even if she does not show it outwardly. Suiseiseki also concerns herself very much with her twin sister, Souseiseki, and was devastated when Suigintou took away her Rosa Mystica in both the manga and the anime. In Träumend, Suiseiseki stands out among the dolls in that she values her sisters' love more than the goal of becoming Alice. She is one of the dolls who opposes the Alice Game, and has no intentions of becoming Alice if it means taking her fellow sisters' Rosa Mystica. Suiseiseki and Jun attempt, without much success, to convince the other Rozen Maidens that the Alice Game is a meaningless endeavor. During Ouverture, Suiseiseki has a small role, seen during a fight between Souseiseki and Shinku trying to stop them fighting, and again sitting in the N-field when Suigintou emerges.
Weapons
Suiseiseki, along with her twin sister, Souseiseki, are both referred as gardeners because of their abilities of communicating and tending not only to regular plants, but also to the "soul trees" of humans. Suiseiseki tries to avoid participating in the Alice Game as much as possible, but she can use her watering can to make plants emerge from the ground and manipulate them. She is one of the few who hate the idea of taking part in the Alice Game. Her artificial spirit, Sui Dream, is named after the popular Anna Sui perfume.Trivia
In both the manga and anime, she almost always ends her sentences with the Japanese copula "Desu" (ですDesu). A video on YouTube shows her saying Desu 527 times in the anime, which you can find here. This made Suiseiseki popular. The manga version has yet to be seen. In the English translation of the manga she uses "yes" at the end of her sentences instead.

Souseiseki

Weapon                      : Gardener's scissors
Artificial spirit           : Lempicka (レンピカ)
Gender                       : Female
Medium                      : Kazuha Yuibishi (first manga series)
: Jun Sakurada (second manga series)
: Motoharu Shibasaki (anime)
Hair color                   : Brown
Eye color                    : Red (left), green (right)
Souseiseki (Japanese: 蒼星石, German: Lapislazuli Stone) is the fourth doll of the Rozen Maiden series. She is the younger twin sister of Suiseiseki.
Souseiseki has a much smaller role in the manga than the anime, which is merely a plot device to continue the story. Her master, Kazuha Yuibishi, has been seeking revenge for the woman who eloped with his brother, which led to his death. Souseiseki is needed for this task, for her powers involve the ability to simply enter one's dream world and destroy the person's life tree, and life force of the person himself. However, since Souseiseki could not alone achieve this goal, she appears to Jun's group asking for Suiseiseki to help her. She ends up fighting Suiseiseki to gather the two gardeners' tools, the shears (which is her own weapon) and the watering can, which together could affect an individual's soul tree. She eventually realizes, however, that it is her master's heart that needs to be freed, and sacrifices herself to do so. The dolls present are shocked by Souseiseki's actions and Suigintou uses the confusion to snatch Souseiseki's Rosa Mystica, enraging both Shinku and Suiseseki. Kirakishou later uses Souseiseki's body to materialize in the not-wound world. However, before she can completely materialize, Jun of this world unexpectedly enters a contract with Souseiseki's ring, causing the body to reject both Kirakishou's Rosa Mystica and essence. In the latest chapter, Suigintou has returned Souseiseki's Rosa Mystica and told her to keep it until she finds an answer to the Alice Game.
In the Rozen Maiden anime, Souseiseki's plot is completely different. She lives with the Shibasaki family, trapped in a sort of dilemma. The watchmaker Motoharu has gone delusional after the death of his son, Kazuki, and his wife, Matsu's subsequent fall into a coma. Souseiseki does know the solution to this problem, which is to awaken Matsu and bring Motoharu back to his senses, and has frequently visited Matsu's dream world, but has found nothing, for it consists of only a pure white, blank space. With the loss of his family, Motoharu believes Souseiseki is his alive son and hence is overprotective of the doll. Suiseiseki had begged for her twin to run away with her to the Sakurada household, but Souseiseki put her duty to her master first and stayed. Unfortunately, this did come with a price. In order for his "son" to never leave him, Motoharu decided to make Souseiseki sleep on the floor, tied to the bed, rather than in her case. Because the Rozen Maidens must sleep in their briefcases to dream, Souseiseki is quickly losing her emotions, doomed to eventually become a shell of her former self. Suigintou intervenes, hoping to defeat the other sisters in one scheme, by stealing Lempicka, Souseiseki's artificial spirit, and taking control of Motoharu's dream world to lock Souseiseki inside. Jun, Shinku, Hinaichigo, and Suiseiseki arrive to rescue the fourth sister, during which Shinku and Hinaichigo divert Suigintou's attacks for Jun and the twins to escape. This time around, they enter Matsu's dream world and encounter Kazuki's spirit, who has been keeping his mother with him for his own happiness. Souseiseki convinces the boy to let go of her so that both his parents can be happy. When the group confronts Suigintou, Suiseiseki sacrifices her artificial spirit, Sui Dream, to satisfy her, and they return to the real world to witness Motoharu and Matsu's reunion. With the appearance of Barasuishou, the (later deemed false) seventh sister, Souseiseki interprets this as a sign from Rozen to begin the Alice Game, though her sisters are content with their happiness and do not wish to fight. Inner conflict strikes, with the fourth sister torn between her happiness and her duty. (In the fourth character drama CD featuring Souseiseki, she experienced consecutive dreams of being attacked by Suiseiseki, joining a tea party with all the sisters in peace, and finally, being told by Laplace no Ma to choose her destiny behind one of two doors. From previous words of advice from Shinku, Souseiseki destroys the doors, claiming that her destiny is hers to decide alone.) After a trip through the N-Field, where she witnesses illusions of a weeping Rozen, Barasuishou says that their Father is in sorrow for his daughters will not decide who is his Alice. Truly determined to grant her Father's wish, Souseiseki declares to her sisters that she will eventually fight them in the Alice Game, and promptly disappears from them. When Barasuishou and Suigintou turn the real world into the N-Field, Shinku, Hinaichigo, and Suiseiseki are drawn into the battle, with Souseiseki reappearing to fight the Suigintou. Despite her twin sister's pleas that the two of them were not meant to harm others, Souseiseki answers that the Alice Game is still their fate, and rises up to Suigintou again, only to be defeated and fall to her end. Souseiseki becomes the first doll to lose her Rosa Mystica, and when it appears for everyone to see, Suigintou snatches it while Suiseiseki rescues her body. Souseiseki is returned to her briefcase to continue her deep sleep, and when the series is abruptly cut off, her fate is still unknown. Laplace's Demon is seen holding two Rosae Mysticae, which may belong to her and Hinaichigo. Souseiseki narrates to Jun the story of Shinku and Suigintou's relationship. During the flashback to 19th century London, Souseiseki and Shinku are engaged in a violent duel for the Alice Game, their strengths so strong that much of the town is destroyed in the process. Suiseiseki suddenly interrupts the fight, warning that too much strength has been weakening the twins' medium. The fight is postponed and is later situated in Souseiseki's N-Field, during which Suigintou intervenes, having curiously followed Shinku, wondering what she was doing. Suigintou's introduction as the first sister makes Souseiseki realize that Suigintou is yet more competition in the Alice Game, and promptly charges at her, slicing the harmless doll's body in half, despite Shinku's pleas.
Appearance
Suiseiseki's younger twin, Souseiseki is the polar opposite of her sister, even in eye color - while Suiseiseki's mismatched eyes have the right red and the left green, Souseiseki's eyes are right green, left red. Her appearance is not only the most masculine of the dolls, but her speech is also noted to be of the masculine form. She dresses like a boy, and the fact that she refers to herself as "boku" instead of gender neutral pronouns like "jibun" or "watashi" makes her even more boyish. Souseiseki has shoulder lenghth auburn hair and wears a blue caplet over a white shirt, blue pants and a top hat with short black boots.
Personality
Souseiseki possesses a sharpness in her speech that is similar to Shinku's, attacks ruthlessly in combat, and does not tolerate sub-par actions. Although Souseiseki's character is the complete opposite of her elder twin's, they are rarely seen apart from each other. Souseiseki is slightly more eager to participate in the Alice Game, due to a sense of duty to Father. Souseiseki often becomes the voice of reason whenever Suiseiseki does something mischievous, but most of the time she is caught up in the trouble her twin sister makes. She is quite
Weapons
Souseiseki's artificial spirit is the light blue colored Lempicka (レンピカ), who is used to summon her weapon, the gardener's scissors. In combat, they are used like a sword to block and parry attacks. In the dream worlds of humans, Souseiseki uses the scissors to cut away the brambles that represent one's memories. While ideally, only the dead roots could be cut away, freeing a human of his or her burdens, the good memories could be cut off as well, killing the person inside.
